You are facing one of the most difficult decisions you may ever have to make, a decision that will affect so many lives. We know that you have many choices and that adoption is not always the easiest. It requires you to be selfless in order to bring about a life. It requires you to know when parenting your child is not in the best interest of either you or your child.
Adoption can give you the opportunity to turn an unwanted pregnancy into a positive situation. You can give your child the gift of a life - full of love and security. You will also fulfill the dreams of a couple, who will forever give you a special place in their hearts.
We started A Loving Alternative Adoption Service in 1994, after a very brave 21-year-old birth mother chose us to parent her child. Our adoption experience led us to assist others in the area of adoption. We know first hand that placing a child for adoption is the greatest gift you can ever give.
A Loving Alternative Adoption Service is an adoption facilitation service located in Southern California. We work with birth parents and adoptive parents from throughout the United States. We are not an attorney nor are we an agency. As an adoption facilitator, our role is to assist you in creating an adoption plan that focuses around your specific needs. We work hand-in-hand with adoption attorneys and agencies. Our role is to provide you with non-judgmental guidance regarding your situation and your choices. In other words, we help you put all the pieces together.
We have assisted hundreds of women in creating adoption plans that have led to solid healthy adoptions for everyone involved. We will assist you through this difficult time by helping you to create your adoption plan. You get to choose, and if desired, meet the family that you would like to parent your child.
Most of the birth parents that choose to work with A Loving Alternative Adoption Service do so because they can feel the difference in our approach from the very first call and throughout the adoption. You will not feel pressured or judged, in fact many of the women we have worked with say - "it is like talking to a friend." We listen to your hopes and desires regarding adoption and guide you through the process.
