About Us
We met at church and, from the very beginning, knew we had something special. We love to spend time together. For example, after work we like to putter around the kitchen and share cooking duties, often experimenting with new recipes from the Food Network. Our free time is spent on adventures, such as picnicking at the beach, attending concerts at the Hollywood Bowl, going to Disneyland, or taking drives up the California coast where we love to kayak and fish. We especially love Morro Bay which is on the central California Coast. We live in a safe and quiet community in Southern California, filled with the laughter and smiles of many children. We are close to several parks and wonderful places for children to have lots of fun. We wanted to have children and attempted to start a family immediately after we were married. Things did not go as initially planned, and after years of trying to conceive and fertility treatments, we choose to adopt.

You should have seen the one that got away!About Pam
I knew Pam was a special person from the moment I first met her. On our first date, we went to the Hollywood Bowl and we laughed and talked for hours. She has a wonderful sense of humor and she always keeps me smiling. I can always count on Pam to brighten my day. Pam is a caring and compassionate person - deeply concerned about the welfare of others. She is always willing to go that extra mile. You can see this in all her interactions, especially with children. It is no accident that Pam has chosen a career as a Children’s Social Worker. She is so tender and loving with our nieces and nephew. Pam knows the importance of providing a strong and supportive upbringing to children and will provide that environment to our child. There is no doubt that she will be an extraordinary mother.

At the beach with our parentsAbout Bill
It didn’t take long for me to realize how caring and gentle Bill really is - he has a heart of gold. I knew from the start Bill was the man for me. His wonderful sense of humor just tickles me and he can always make me laugh. Bill has such passion for the things that are important to him. He loves to work with students and feels truly blessed to be a teacher. Bill takes pride in everything he does and puts his heart and soul into it, whether it’s his teaching or research or exploring a new hobby. I love watching Bill play with our nieces and nephew. They have so much fun together.

Bill is a big kid at heart. He is so patient with them and he genuinely loves to be around children. Bill will make an awesome father.

Family
Family play a major role in our lives. (We recently vacationed in Alaska with both sets of parents!) Besides two sets of doting grandparents, our child will be surrounded by aunts, uncles, and cousins in our close-knit clan. Pam’s family has a 40-year tradition of gathering at Morro Bay. Every summer, the gang goes there to spend quality time together and get in touch with nature. It’s a tradition we can’t wait to share with our child. Both of our families are extremely supportive of our desire to adopt and can’t wait until we are able to welcome a child into our lives. Adoption is not unfamiliar to us... Bill’s younger brother is adopted

Our thoughts on adoption
Our child will know the selfless, thoughtful, and courageous decision you made was made out of love. We are open to continuing communication, if you would like.

We thank you for considering us to be the adoptive parents of your baby. We are excited to offer your child a loving home, a good education, and every opportunity to achieve great things in life.
